About the Teacher:
Ms. Gayathri, has completed the Advanced Teacher Training, Certified by YogaVahini and Shri. Srivatsava Ramaswamy, a stalwart of over 3 decades of tutelage under of Guru Shri.T.K.Krishnamacharya. But what captured her interest was Ashtanga / Mysore Yoga style. Pursuing her interest, she began her training in Primary Series, Ashtanga Yoga with Shri. Nitesh Bhatra, who ultimately recommended her to Guruji Sharath Jois, Sharath Yoga Centre, in 2023. Shri. Sharathiji is the Grandson of Guruji Shri. K. Pattabhi Jois Founder of KPJAYI and a direct and a prime student of Guru Shri.T.K.Krishnamacharya.
However, because of the untimely loss of Shri. Sharath Jois in 2024, her studies came to an abrupt halt. With deep respect for His legacy, she is now continuing her journey under the care of Smt. Shruti Jois at the Sharath Yoga Centre.
